“Romantic” a word that describes Chris Diaz’ design aesthetic.

Diaz took inspiration from the rich and opulent world of Nadia Leger, a wife to Polish painter Grabowski and later on to French artist Fernand Leger, for his Holiday 2012 collection. Silhouette was dark and feminine that uses velvet, faux fur, tulle, taffeta, lace, and whatnot on jewel tones such as emerald, amethyst, and peridot combined with magenta, carmine and black. Undoubtedly, the designer showed a solid and well-styled collection.

Dubai-based Filipino designer Albert Andrada presented a dramatic, and creatively inspired show at the Philippine Fashion Week 2012.
